Announements for the Week of 4/27/2025

1. The ushers will now take the second collection for Catholic Home Missions. Thank you for all your donations!

2. Tomorrow/Today, for Divine Mercy Sunday, we will have Confession at 2 PM and Adoration at 3 PM, and then we will have a second Adoration with the Assumption Youth Group at 7 PM. See the poster for more information.

3. There will be a Memorial Mass for Pope Francis on Tuesday, April 29 at 5:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces. Fr. Jarek will be attending this Mass. If you would like to accompany him, he has room for a couple of people. Please call the parish office no later than Monday if you are interested in going. Due to the secretary also going to the Mass, the office will be closed at noon on Tuesday and will reopen at 8 AM on Wednesday.

4. If you haven’t turned in your CRS Rice Bowls yet, please bring them to the parish office or place them in the collection. They are due by the weekend of May 4.

5. Starting in May, we will meet at St. Mary’s Grotto for the 7 PM Adoration, where the Catholic Daughters will lead a procession into the church. The Crowning of Mary will be on the last Thursday of the month.

6. Next Sunday, we will celebrate First Holy Communion in the parish. Please pray for the children from our parish and All Saints Catholic School and their families.

7. We will be holding a volunteer meeting for VBS on May 8 at 6:30 PM in the parish hall. If you would like to volunteer, please plan on attending.

8. Please see the poster in the back of the church for information about MatanzaFest, which is put on by a local nonprofit to raise money for education in Chaves County.
