Announcements for the Week of 5/4/2025

1. Tomorrow/Today, we will celebrate First Holy Communion in the parish. Please pray for the children from our parish Faith Formation and All Saints Catholic School and their families.
2. We will be having a volunteer meeting for VBS on May 8 at 6:30 PM in the parish hall. If you would like to volunteer, please plan on attending. Next weekend, the VBS coordinator will provide details, and registration will open.
3. Next Sunday, we will celebrate Mother’s Day, and during each Mass, we will have a blessing for mothers.
4. Also, next Sunday, May 11, Fr. Jarek is going to Houston for his first postoperative checkup and will be back on Wednesday. Please pray for our pastor.
5. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas invite you to pray the Rosary every Thursday at 7 PM in the month of May, during the Adoration. We will meet at the Grotto before processing to the church.
6. Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl donations help feed the poor and hungry throughout the world and here in our Diocese of Las Cruces. Thank you to everyone who has been collecting money to give alms during Lent.
7. Please see the poster in the back of the church for information about MatanzaFest, which takes place on May 10 and is put on by a local nonprofit to raise money for education in Chaves County.
8. We will be hosting a Vitalant Blood Drive in the parish hall on May 21 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Blood and plasma are always needed to help save lives, and this is your opportunity to help right here at your parish. For information on making an appointment, see the posters on the bulletin boards.
9. The graduate blessing will be on May 25 during the 11 AM Mass. If you would like to receive a blessing, RSVP to the parish office no later than Monday, May 19, so that Fr. Jarek can invite you by name to come forward for the blessing.
10. As of this Sunday, we are at 49% of our annual UIM goal, with 67 parishioners participating. Thank you to everyone who has donated. If you haven’t yet donated, please consider doing so. This will keep our parish in good standing with the Diocese.
11. Next weekend, we will take the collection for the San Juan Diego Seminarian Fund, which nurtures diocesan priestly vocations through support for the education and formation of our seminarians and aspiring seminarians, usually from a younger age—our future priests. Seminary studies and priestly formation require six to eight years before a seminarian is fully prepared for ordination to the priesthood. This fund ensures support for the human, spiritual, academic, and pastoral formation of our seminarians. Thank you for your support!
