Announcements for the Week of 3/1/2026

1. Every Friday during Lent, we will have two Stations of the Cross: after 12:10 PM Mass and at 6 PM. We will not have a homily on Fridays so that those who attend Mass during lunchtime can participate in the Stations of the Cross.

2. The Altar and Rosary Society of Assumption Parish warmly invites all parishioners to join them for the Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Together, we will view the inspiring video series “How to Lent” and share in meaningful discussion and fellowship, along with light refreshments. If you plan to attend, please call the parish office.

3. On Saturday, March 7, Fr. Tom Smith, director of the Holy Cross Retreat Center in Las Cruces, will lead the Confirmation Retreat from 7 AM to 8 PM in the parish hall. He will also give the homily at the Saturday Vigil and Sunday morning Masses.

4. The 2026 Bishop’s United in Ministry in-pew, commitment weekend will be held on March 14 and 15. If you made a gift last year, you may have already received a letter from Bishop Baldacchino. If you have responded with a gift, then we thank you. Your contribution will go a long way toward meeting a variety of needs in the Diocese of Las Cruces. During the commitment weekend, we will watch the UIM video so everyone can hear the Bishop’s important message. The video will also be available on parish media.
