Announcements for the Week of 8/23/2026
1. The ushers will now take up the second collection for UIM.
2. We will have another Eucharistic Minister Training on August 25th at 5:30 PM, in the church, for those who were unable to attend the previous training.
3. Youth Faith Formation registration forms are still being accepted, and the fee is now $60 per child. The first class is this week, August 26th, at 6 PM.
4. OCIA registration is still open. If you’re an adult in need of sacraments or are interested in becoming Catholic, please call the office.
5. Our parish feast will be on September 13th this year. We have RSVP lists in the back of the church, or you can call the office. Please RSVP by September 9th so that we know who’s bringing what, and how many chairs and tables to set up.
6. We will have a baptism class on Tuesday, September 1st from 5 to 6 PM, in the library. We can also schedule classes as needed for those unable to attend this class.
7. Please help us clean up our list of military personnel in the back of the church and in the bulletin. If you know someone who needs to be added or who has retired from service, let us know.
8. Celebrate the Jubilee Year of St. Francis by joining St. Peter’s Parish to reflect on Pope Leo XIV’s prayer to St Francis for Peace tomorrow/today [8/23], at St. Peter Community Room, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.
