Announcements for the Week of 8/2/2026

1. The Altar and Rosary Society thanks everyone who donated to our Garage Sale, both with items and with purchases. It was a huge success.


2. Registration for Youth Faith Formation is happening now. Take advantage of the $10 early registration discount by registering soon. We will have an in-person registration this Wednesday, August 5th, from 4 to 7 PM, and after Sunday Masses the weekend of August 9th. Registrations are also accepted in the church office.


Parent meetings for Youth Faith Formation will be on August 19th, and our first class will be on August 26th.


3. OCIA registration is open, and registration forms are available on the website and in the parish office. OCIA classes will take place on Thursdays at 6 PM, beginning on September 3rd. Please call the office if you’d like more information.


4. The St. Mary’s Craft Group will resume sessions on August 4th from 9 AM to noon. Everyone is welcome. We work on sewing, quilting, beading, crocheting, knitting, paper crafts, and more. Please join us for a morning of faith, sharing, and fellowship, as well. Call the office for more information.


5. Next weekend, we will take up the second collection for Catholic Charities of Southern New Mexico, which is called to enact the corporal works of mercy: that the hungry might be fed, the naked clothed, the homeless sheltered, the sick and imprisoned visited, the stranger welcomed, all with the dignity proper to the children of God. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Las Cruces is the visible expression of the Catholic Church’s solidarity with persons in need. Thank you for all your donations!


6. We will be adding a column in the bulletin for sick parishioners in need of prayer. If you would like to add someone to this list, please call the office.


7. We will now be scheduling baptisms and baptism classes as needed. Please call or come to the parish office if your child, under seven, needs to be baptized.


8. Beginning this week, the main church will have a gate installed, but St. Mary’s Room will remain open for people to pray.
