Announcements for the Week of 8/10/2025

1. The ushers will now take the second collection for the Catholic Charities of Southern New Mexico. Thank you for all your donations!

2. We want to remind everyone again to be patient, as the parking lot project is ongoing. Please take care to avoid parking or driving through the places being worked on, and please do not move the cones. If necessary, you may park in the school parking lot. Soon, there will be new pavement around the Good Shepherd statue, and we ask that you not walk in the work zone surrounding it for at least three weeks. If you have business at the office, you may park in front of the hall and use the walkway from there.

3. Registration for Youth Faith Formation is open. Please register in the parish office during regular office hours. Until August 20, registration is $50 per student. On August 21, the early-registration discount ends.

Parent meetings for Youth Faith Formation are on August 20, and our first class is on August 27.

4. OCIA, or Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, is for non-Catholic adults who are interested in becoming Catholic, or for Catholic adults who have not had all their sacraments. It is free to register. Please come to the office or email us if you would like a registration form.

5. This Friday, August 15, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is our parish feast day. It is also a Holy Day of Obligation. We will have Adoration at 11 AM and 5:30 PM, and Masses at 12:10 PM and 6 PM.

6. Because it is our parish feast day, the parish office will be closed this Friday.
