Announcements for the Week of 6/22/2025

June 23, 2025

1. We will have the Corpus Christi procession after the 11 AM Mass tomorrow/today. We welcome all parishioners to join us.

2. This coming Tuesday, we are celebrating the Nativity of John the Baptist, and on Friday, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, during the daily Masses.

3. Fr. Jarek will be on vacation from July 1st to the 31st. If you would like to talk to Fr. Jarek before he leaves, please call the office. This coming week will be the last week to set up an appointment with him.

Fr. Mike Buentello, who served in our parish during Fr. Jarek’s surgery and recovery, will serve again in the parish during Fr. Jarek’s vacation.

4. For those who registered, True North VBS starts Monday, June 23, at 9 AM in the Parish Hall. Students should wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. Snacks are going to be different this year, so children should eat a good breakfast before they come!

5. Our parishioners, Emily and Sarah Mathison, who are now students, will be full-time Catholic missionaries with an organization called FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). They are looking to partner with people in this mission to help both financially and spiritually. Next weekend, they will give a talk about it at the end of Masses. If people would like to hear more about the mission and how they can help, they will also be available to schedule individual meetings.

6. Due to the secretary having medical tests next week, the office will open at 10 AM on Monday the 23rd and 9 AM on Thursday the 26th.

7. On Facebook, you will find a video with information about our parking lot project. You can also find information on the bulletin boards. Due to celebrating the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this weekend, Fr. Jarek will share more details about it next weekend.

8. Next weekend, we will have the Peter’s Pence second collection, which enables the Holy Father Pope Leo to respond with emergency financial assistance to requests to aid the neediest throughout the world – those who suffer as a result of war, oppression, and natural disasters. Thank you for your support!
