Announcements for the Week of 3/15/2026

March 16, 2026

1. The ushers will now take the second collection for Catholic Relief Services. Thank you for all donations!

2. Please remember that on Fridays during Lent, we have two Stations of the Cross, after the 12:10 PM Mass and at 6 PM. You are more than welcome to join us.

3. On Saturday, March 21, at 11 AM, we will have a Posture Workshop with Dr. Tomasz Jankowski, Director of Therapy Operations at Eastern NM Medical Center, in the parish hall. If you are interested in participating, please call the office no later than Wednesday, March 18. For more information, please check the poster in the back of the church and on parish media.

4. This week is spring break, and there will be no Faith Formation classes, no ASCS Mass, and no OCIA this weekend or the following weekend. The NMMI Mass, however, will resume on the 22nd.

5. On the weekend of March 21 and 22, the Bethlehem Nativity Group will sell goods from the Holy Land after Masses. This is a good time to buy gifts for First Communion, Confirmation, or Easter.

6. On Sunday, March 29, we will celebrate Palm Sunday, and on Monday, March 30, as every year, we’ll have the Parish Lenten Reconciliation Service at 6 PM. But first, Bishop Baldaccino would like to invite everyone to celebrate the Chrism Mass with the priests from our Diocese on Tuesday, March 24 at 5 PM. See the Chrism Mass flyer for more info.

7. On Tuesday, March 31, Fr. Jarek will be visiting the homebound for confession and Holy Communion. Please call the office no later than Monday, March 30, if you would like to schedule a time.

8. Now I would like to invite [Mignon Simitz, Debbie Bays, Bill and Gloria Wier] to the ambo to share with us something important about the United in Ministry Appeal.

In your pews, you will find UIM envelopes, which you can fill out after Mass. In the back of the church, we have prepared tables with pens to fill out the envelopes, and you can then drop them in one of the boxes provided or take them home and bring them back next weekend and put them in the collection basket. You can also drop them at the parish office during the week or in the post box in front of the office.

If you have already received an envelope in the mail, please add Assumption/Roswell so they know it is coming from one of our parishioners. You can also scan the QR code using your smartphone or visit the Diocese website to give electronically by credit card or EFT, which is an Electronic Funds Transfer.

Thank you for all donations!
