Announcements for the Week of 1/25/2026

1. The ushers will now take the second collection for Las Cruces Diocese Catholic Schools. Thank you for your donations.
2. Thank you to everyone who filled out the new registration forms. If, for some reason, you haven’t been able to fill out the new form, now is the last second to do so before the old information in the database is erased.
3. After Mass, Citizens for Life will be handing out carnations for donations to pro-life causes in Chaves County.
4. Next week, Reconciliation, Daily Masses from Tuesday to Friday, and Adorations are cancelled because Fr. Jarek will be out of town. However, we will still have the All Saints Catholic School Mass on Thursday.
5. The secretary will be taking a vacation during the second week of February and will be creating the bulletin for February 22 early. If you would like an announcement in that bulletin, please send it by Friday, February 6.
6. All Saints Catholic School’s Annual Mardi Gras Gala dance and dinner benefit will be at the St. Peter Church Gym on Saturday, February 7, from 6:30 to 11 pm. For more information or to buy tickets, please call or visit the school.
7. All couples married in the Catholic Church celebrating their Paper (1st), Silver (25th), Gold (50th) or 50 plus wedding anniversary in 2026, are invited to attend a Mass at St. Peter’s Parish in Roswell on Friday, February 13, at 5:30 pm., or at the Cathedral of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces on Saturday, February 14, at 5:30 p.m., to celebrate and receive a blessing from Bishop Peter Baldacchino. Couples wishing to celebrate these milestone anniversaries must register with the parish office by bringing a Certificate of Marriage from the Catholic parish where the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony was celebrated, or a recent Baptism Certificate (within the last 6 months) with notations on the back of the Certificate indicating the marriage is recognized by the Church. The deadline is Friday, January 30.
8. Now, we would like to invite a representative from All Saints Catholic Schools to come to the ambo to make an announcement.
