Announcements for the Week of 1/18/2026

1. Thank you to everyone who filled out the new registration forms. It is the last chance for parishioners to fill out the new form and bring it to the office. Please do this now because if we don’t have your form, we will remove your family from our parish database.
2. The St. Mary’s Craft Group will begin meeting for the new year this Tuesday, January 20. They meet from 9 to noon in the parish hall every first and third Tuesday. Please see the flyer in the bulletin for more information on the type of projects they do.
3. The Diocese will be holding a St. Andrew’s Dinner in Las Cruces on Friday, January 23, for young men who are high school age and older and their pastors. Please see the flyers posted on the bulletin boards, the website, and Facebook for more information.
4. Next weekend, Citizens for Life will be handing out carnations after Masses for donations to pro-life causes in Chaves County.
5. All Saints Catholic School’s Annual Mardi Gras Gala dance and dinner benefit will be at the St. Peter Church Gym on Saturday, February 7, from 6:30 to 11 pm. Tickets and tables are available for purchase at the school.
6. All couples married in the Catholic Church celebrating their Paper (1st), Silver (25th), Gold (50th) or 50 plus wedding anniversary in 2026, are invited to attend a Mass at St. Peter’s Parish in Roswell on Friday, February 13, at 5:30 pm., or at the Cathedral of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces on Saturday, February 14, at 5:30 p.m., to celebrate and receive a blessing from Bishop Peter Baldacchino. Couples wishing to celebrate these milestone anniversaries only must register with their Parish Priest no later than January 31 and provide him with a Certificate of Marriage from the Catholic parish where the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony was celebrated, or a recent Baptism Certificate (within the last 6 months) with notations on the back of the Certificate indicating the marriage is recognized by the Church.
7. Next weekend, we will have the second collection for Las Cruces Diocese Catholic Schools, which promote excellence in education and foster Christian, spiritual, intellectual, and moral virtues in our students. Currently, the Diocese has four schools located in Roswell, Hobbs, Alamogordo, and Las Cruces. Funds from this collection will help support and expand the availability of high-quality, Catholic education within our diocese. Thank you for your donations.
