Parish Announcements for the Week of 3/19/23

1. The ushers will take up the Catholic Relief Services second collection. Thank you for all your donations.
 
2. St. John Parish is inviting all interested parishioners to a Marty Rotella concert. A few years ago, he played in our parish. The lenten concert will be on Sunday, March 26, from 5 – 7 PM. For more information, please check the poster.
 
3. We normally celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary on March 19, but this year it is transferred to Monday, March 20 because March 19 is the Fourth Sunday of Lent. Though the feast of St. Joseph is a solemnity, which is the highest rank of liturgical celebrations, it is not a holy day of obligation. But we will have a Holy Mass on Monday at 12:10 PM. All are welcome. 

4. Men, couples, and other parishioners are invited to The Men of the Cross Ministry Reception at the parish hall on Saturday, March 25 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The purpose of the ministry is to assist men in strengthening their relationship with God and better understanding their role as men in the church, their families, and the community. Learn more about the ministry and how That Man Is You and Into the Breach programs will a help bring you closer to God. Please save the date and we'll see you there. God Bless.
