Announcements for the Week of 7/12/2026

1. The ushers will now take the Good Shepherd second collection. Thank you for all your donations!

2. Registration for Youth Faith Formation is open! Now is your chance to take advantage of the $20 early registration discount. Registration forms are available on the Assumption website and in the parish office. Please see the flyer on the bulletin boards for days and times of in-person registration.

Volunteer substitute catechists and aides are needed for Youth Faith Formation. Please pray about volunteering for this important ministry. If you would like to help, call Carol Dutchover, Director of Religious Education, at the parish office.

3. OCIA registration is also open and registration forms available on the website and in the parish office. OCIA is for adults who are interested in becoming Catholic, or who are Catholic but haven’t received all their sacraments. There is no cost to register.

4. There will be no Reconciliation or Daily Mass on Tuesday, July 14. Please join fellow parishioners in praying a rosary in the Daily Mass Chapel at 12:10 PM.

5. Bishop Peter Baldacchino has asked the parishes of the Diocese of Las Cruces to prayerfully and generously support those affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela. A second collection will be taken up next weekend, July 18th and 19th. You may also make donations directly to Catholic Relief Services at www.crs.org.

6. The Altar and Rosary Society Garage Sale will be on Saturday, August 1st, from 7 AM to noon in the parish hall. We will be accepting new and gently used items from July 27th to July 31st in the parish hall. Please, do not bring clothing. See the flyer for more information.

7. We are in need of volunteer altar servers, lectors, choir members, and ushers. If you would like to volunteer, please see the sign-up sheets provided in the back of the church. Children may volunteer as altar servers if they’ve had their First Holy Communion.
