Announcements for the Week of 12/28/2025

1. There will be no reconciliation or Mass on Tuesday, December 30, due to the Bishop’s Christmas Gathering for Priests in Artesia.
2. The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, is on January 1. It is a Holy Day of Obligation, and we will have three Masses. On the 31st, we will have a Vigil Mass at 6 PM that will be celebrated as a thanksgiving for all gifts that were received from God this past year, and also for Assumption donors. On the 1st, we will have Masses at 9 and 11 AM.
3. The parish office will be closed on New Year’s Day.
4. The United in Ministry campaign officially ends on December 31. However, there is a grace period of ten days until January 10. Gifts received after that date will count towards 2026. All checks must be dated no later than December 31. Credit card gifts given directly to the diocese have a hard deadline of December 31. Thank you for your generosity.
5. Next Sunday, we celebrate the Epiphany, also known as “Three Kings Day”. Each year, we have blessed chalk available at the Masses, used for marking the doorposts of our homes with an inscription of the new year separated by C+M+B.
6. The Marriage Group will resume sessions in the new year, starting with a Marriage Retreat on January 17. It will be a time to strengthen your bond, meet other couples, and give your marriage the gift of focus. The deadline to register for the retreat is January 13. Please see the poster or call the office for more information.
